Q.
How long does it take to completely eliminate roaches from
my home?
A. Depending on the infestation amount and
the sanitation in the area, it can take as little as 10 to 14 days. If the sanitation is
improper...maybe never! Sanitation is critical.
Q. What should I do to prepare for a flea
treatment?
A. Proper Flea treatments require interior
treatment of the home, treatment of any pets as well as the yard.
Replace and/or launder pet bedding. Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas exposing as much area as
possible. The more area available to treatment, the better the results. Fleas
may take a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks to eliminate because the eggs continue
to hatch out and fleas are not affected by insecticides in the egg state.
Q. What is involved in a termite treatment?
A. A very through inspection is first required to
determine what should be done. The technician will discuss treatment options with you and
provide a disclosure document that describes exactly what will be treated,
what the costs are and the warranty details.
Q. Can you give me a quote over the phone?
A. For general first time pest control....we can
give you a very basic idea of what that service will cost. Although it will probably not be
accurate. For termites or any wood destroying insect...State Law strictly
prohibits over the phone quotes. A properly written disclosure document is
required to be given to the buyer of services upon presenting a quote.
Q. Do you provide free Termite Inspections and
quotes?
A. To schedule a service call to inspect and tell
you whether you actually have termites and need the services of a professional.....is
absolutely free.
Q. What is required for rodent control?
A. Sanitation is a very important first step.
Just applying baits will often yield little or no results. After sanitation and exclusion,
sealing entry ways and eliminating nesting sites in and around the structure,
locked exterior bait stations will generally provide rodent population
control. Locked bait stations will help prevent children and pets from
gaining access to the rodent bait.
Q. What if a rodent dies inside my home and begins
to smell bad?
A. The best solution is to find the “offending
individual” and remove it. Should that not be possible, a deodorizer can be applied to help
until the odor goes away naturally. We generally do not charge for
applying a deodorizer if we have performed the initial rodent service.
Q. What is Hygienitech? And how much does it cost?
And how often should it be done?
A. Hygienitech is a chemical free, dry process
which uses UVC light and a vacuuming method to reduce allergens
and dust mites in your sleeping area. Prices vary
according to size and number of mattress to be cleaned.
