Exterior
1. Remove all toys and pet dishes the same as the interior.
2. Notify the Technician of any areas that you do not want sprayed such as Herb or vegetable gardens.
3. Pest and children should stay out of the treated areas until dry...usually about an hour. Children with allergies and children under 12 months should stay away for 2 to 4 hours just to be safe.
A little information and what to expect after the treatment
The Flea life cycle will normally take from 2 weeks to 4 weeks to complete. Fleas can stay dormant for a year or more when conditions are not right for them to hatch. Fleas can be tough to eliminate.
Most people find that the Fleas will almost completely seem to go away the first few days after the treatment. That is because the Adulticide in the spray has killed the adults....the Fleas that are hatching must contact that material to be affected and it will seem like they are coming back...but that is a necessary step in eliminating the population.
That is why we say it won't be beneficial to spray again any sooner that 2 weeks. During that time when the Fleas seem to be re-emerging constant vacuuming will do the most good.
